Beach Construction, Beachlauncher and Stone Stairs

Longwood Avenue Getaway

Before we got there this shoreline was scattered with stone and had an unusable beach. We disposed of the debris along with submerged old wood piling. We then removed and stockpiled existing limestone which we were able to later re-use in the new stone revetment to protect the toe of the bluff. A comprehensive quartzite stone breakwater was built to protect the shoreline. This stone breakwater has two flat topped stone stairways for easy access to the water. The existing deck was improved with IPE decking. We created a wide protected beach where the owners could easily launch their wave runners with their Beachlauncher.
